New free Wollongong city buses

Minister for the Illawarra David Campbell today announced a new, free, high-frequency loop bus service for Wollongong city, to start operating early in 2009.
Mr Campbell said the Rees Government would fund the free CBD Shuttle, which will operate seven days a week on a 14.7 kilometre loop of the city.
“Public transport is one of the top priorities of the Rees Government, and this new CBD Shuttle will encourage Wollongong residents to make the switch to public transport,” Mr Campbell said....
